The 2027 Founding Edition Celluloid Junkie Dine-In Cinema Awards are officially open for entries. We will be recognizing culinary excellence across North America’s dine-in cinema industry. From standout menu items to exceptional food and beverage programs, the awards celebrate the creativity and innovation transforming the moviegoing experience.

HOW TO ENTER
One important detail: Anyone wishing to submit an entry must have a free Celluloid Junkie account. (In other words, they have to log in.) This allows us to track your submissions AND you will be able to see your submissions year-after-year as the awards move on. You can also SAVE your submissions as you work on them before you submit your final entries. Those who already have a Celluloid Junkie account can simply sign in.

Once registered and signed in, you can:
- Visit the Awards entry portal and select one of the 12 competition categories.
- Create an entry, provide the requested information and upload supporting materials, including photographs and menus where required.
- Save your work as a draft and return to complete it later (if you wish).
- Submit your completed entry and receive an automatic confirmation email with a receipt reference.
Entries will then go through an eligibility and completeness review. Best of Show and Audience Choice are determined through the competition’s judging process and are not categories exhibitors enter directly.
A note about the entry application process: This is the first edition of the awards and this process of submitting entries is brand new. It’s been extensively tested – but PLEASE KNOW that if you encounter a problem registering, completing an entry, uploading materials or submitting your application, WE GREATLY APPRECIATE YOU LETTING US KNOW by sending an email to awards@celluloidjunkie.com.
ENTRY DEADLINE
The currently published deadline is Friday, December 11, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. Pacific. HOWEVER, we encourage you to submit your entries as soon as you can!
